My 8x Great Grandparents, Samuel Sherman and Mary Titterton lived in Stratford, CT. Samuel, born 19 June 1641 in Stratford is the son of Samuel Sherman and Sarah Mitchell. Mary is the daughter of Daniel Titterton.
Mary died sometime between 1688 and 1695 as Samuel remarried. His second wife was Abigail Thompson who was previously married to Jonathon Curtis and Nicholas Huse.
Samuel died 20 February 1718/19. His estate was administrated by his son Daniel and a man named John Leavenworth on 24 Feb 1718/19. An agreement of the heirs was made 8 October 1719. These included: Daniel St John (Grace) of Norwalk, James Beebe (Abigail) of Danbury, Samuel Beers (Sarah) of Newtown, Daniel Sherman, Daniel Mitchell (Susannah), and Isaac Clark (Elizabeth). I included the daughters in parenthesis to keep track of them. Mary is the only one not included so she must have passed away prior to Samuels’ death. Also, his second wife, Abigail isn’t included in the settlement. This is her third marriage also so she probably had all she needed.
I have not been able to find the graves of either Samuel Sherman or Mary Titterton.
